My son Eli struggles with several visual processing disorders and because he’s aware that it’s more difficult for him than others to do simple reading and writing tasks, his self esteem took a hit.
In the time that he has spent with Tina learning tips and tricks to help him ease through those obstacles, his self esteem is more positive than ever before. Tina is so good with him, patient and kind. We noticed that he stopped avoiding reading. On one trip over he started reading as many road signs has he could and it made us so proud. As parents we better understand what he is dealing with and can help him when he struggles.
Visual therapy has given us the tools to continue to help strengthen his eyes and has helped his teachers understand what it takes for him to comfortably use his eyes as expected. We are so glad we found out about Unger Eye Care and their visual therapy program. It’s been a stress reliever, it’s a valuable asset that we will continue to use long after his weekly appointments end.
